The planned events for the year are below. These special events are in addition to our monthly meetings. More events will be added as they are planned.
2026 Events:
*Saturday, January 17, 2026 Lunch at Stella’s in Lebeau then drive to Griffin’s in Bunkie. We will meet at Leebo’s Hwy. 71S in Lecompte at 10:15 a.m., leaving promptly at 10:30 a.m.
*Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 Breakfast at Experimental Aircraft Assoc. at Lake Buhlow. Meet at Y Not Stop at Lake Buhlow at 7:45 a.m., leaving promptly at 7:50 a.m.
*Friday, February 13, 2026 Participate in the Alexandria Mardi Gras Classic Car and Cheerleader Parade. Time and meet place TBA.
*Saturday, February 21, 2026 La. Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches, La & Grayson’s Bar B Que in Clarence, La for lunch. Time and meet place TBA.
*May 1, 2026 Louisiana AACA Region Tour in Gonzales, La. hosted by the Baton Rouge Chapter. See the two files listed below. Both have to be mailed to complete your registration.
2025 Events:
*Saturday, September 6, 2025 meet at Ynot Stop at Buhlow Lake at 8 a.m. then we will caravan to have breakfast at the Experimental Aircraft Association. Breakfast is $10 per person.
*Saturday, September 13, 2025 meet at Ynot Stop at Buhlow Lake at 10:45 a.m. then we will caravan together to Rue 22 in Dry Prong for lunch.
*4th Quarter Drive & Dine – Oct. 25, 2025S
We will drive to Jim & Marguerite Ortego’s home in Lafayette.

*Thanksgiving Tour – November 18-23, 2025
The Thanksgiving Tour is a hit with our members every year! Held in different places for the past 20+ years, this week before Thanksgiving is filled with lots of laughter and memorable experiences. Every day explore the areas local activities then finish off the evenings in the hotel banquet room playing bouree’, dominoes, or just visiting.
